Very often communication designers and entrepreneurs never get the credit they deserve for their creations. For example, who remembers the first person that made the map? Or the artist behind the Che Guevara poster?
This project (in-progress) is a hand-painted set of playing cards presenting some extremely inspirational designers/entrepreneurs, who have sadly been forgotten over the years.
The playing cards celebrate these unsung heroes, their inventions, designs and how they made it happen. Some of the episodes even start as early as the 1800s when design was irrelevant and yet it was being done.
They are passionate stories of hard work, dedication and perseverance.
The final outcome aims to act as a memento , not just for designers but as an inspiration to all.
