Video Editing for education institution

About this Project

I worked as a part time video editor for 6 months at International leadership University - ILU. I work with a team of other part time employees.

My job was to edit great videos with resources I am given, to deliver the videos on time, to engage in team meetings and to make thumbnails for the edited videos.
I am guided by the university to fit the videos under certain themes they want.

Our team mainly focused on the student center entertainment videos.

Our goal is to attract people to engage with the University Page more.

Our team would analysis and report each month.

The university mostly run their social media on Facebook and sometimes upload videos onto Youtube. All the images, music and gifs in the videos are either free or the institution bought the license to use. They are usually free recourses.

Software used - Adobe Premiere Pro

The video above is the most popular video I had made for the institution. At the moment it has over 60K views on Facebook. The video I edited is the most viewed video for the institution at that time.

I had done a day in the life kind of videos too.

I had edit lots Challenge videos too and honestly i like to edit them a lot.

Here is another challenge video. I edit it to look more interesting by showing them side to side.

There are also student hobby sharing videos.

In this video, the videographers could get footage for the actual live speech of the monk. The permission was denied. I used what I have to make it into a suitable video.
