January. Picture numerous drawers of a chest harboring ancient secrets. Feel the contrast between the warm, slightly dusty antique coziness and the cold, empty air. Omniscient birds.
February. Do you know how beautiful ice is with the uniqueness of its fractures? Layers of snow cover the branches of fir trees, and the comforting light of the fireplace awaits you at the end of the path. The wind sways the lanterns on heavy chains.
March. In a small bulb beneath the layers of husk lies a reserve of beauty and hope. Flowers - very strong, but even flowers need protection and light.
April. Insects have awakened. The old estate is overgrown with daffodils. Now everything will start to grow!
May. The tight silk of tulips and the rigid wings of a scarab, can they be friends?
June is a riot of garden greenery. The stems curve like a poem. Juices flow through the stems, and fresh grass crunches underfoot.
July—Harvest time. At the peak of summer, ripe fruits—sun-warmed juicy berries — fall into your hands on their own.
All illustrations for this calendar were painted in watercolor on large sheets of watercolor paper (56*76 cm) in 2023 in Thailand.
