PIATTO RUSTICO
A mock branding project based on a brief, shared by @BriefClub on Instagram. This is an authentic Italian Restaurant that required a logo and menu design, plus any extras.
For branding, I wanted to prioritize color and composition. Going for a rustic concept, I decided on fresh colors that would reflect the freshness of the ingredients. As for the type, I went for minimalism with some emphasis in texture and fluidity.
As for the menu design, I worked with a pattern that was made up of the sub-mark, reflecting the stones of a stone brick oven. Playing with the type, allowed for an interesting flow throughout the menu layouts.
I included a food menu and a wine menu.
The final product was a rustic and unique Italian restaurant that feels both warm and inviting and new, fresh and eye-catching.
