Future City Concept
Concept Art to Print to 3D animation.
This entire project started from simply experimenting with the warping tools in adobe illustrator while trying to design some new photoshop brushes (you can download my Photoshop brush packs free here).  I unintentionally came up with an interesting base or tripod and simply built upon in until I had designed a rough tripod mech.  From there, I developed it into concept art.  Later on, I brought it into it's own environment built inside photoshop using some older pictures.  For a school project I designed a 3D environment within Adobe After Effects while learning how to use the camera at the same time (The huge file almost didn't render in time for class!).  This went through a revision and I integrated music I had written that fit the ambience better.

I love how the creative process can change and morph as new ideas emerge and old ones take a different shape.  To me, motion and sound combined with visual are the final frontier for appealing to an audience.  Smartly appealing to single sense can pe tremendously powerful, and seamlessly integrating three can multiply this effect.  That is why motion and audio fascinate me, and I continue to find more and more connections between visual, motion-based, and audio design.
