Xiaoman Yu is an assistant monster painter. Normally her job is to fix old picture books, especially the monster collection books. That's why many monsters know her. Xiaoman has a best monster friend who named Ran. His head looks like snake, but has fish body and six feet. Ran's job normally is to eat people's nightmare.

 

 

Ran comes from a Chinese old monster book- Shanhai jing(another translation is "The Montains and the Seas").
