Ulberht is a comic book I have just started writing and illustrating. I have always wanted to make a comic book and I am pretty happy with my first propper attempt. So here is a look at Ulfberht issue one(without the text).

 

The story is based on the discovery of the skeletal remains found in Scotland which arre believer to be that of on of the high kings of Ireland, Olaf Guthfrithsson, who also ruled over a large portion of Brittain during his brief reign.

 

This comic tells the story of his return to the living and his journy to power as King and slaver.

 

The name Ulfberht comes from the name given to Viking swords made of perfect steel. Ownership of these weapons was reserved for the royalty of vikings and was usually inscribed on the blade near the hilt.
