Hotstar have visibility of system status if we select something to watch in the platform it will show the title of the show which we are going to watch.

Hotstar have Match between system & Real world the icons are pretty straight forward icons symbols are same like a real world items.
USER CONTROL & FREEDOM
We have navigation button in the screen if we mistakenly enter into a video and then we need to came out of it we can use arrow button(<-) to come out from the particular video.
CONSISTENCY & STANDARDS
Hotstar have standard consistence in icon style all the icons are looks similar and easy to identify with there functionality they maintain same grid size and standard color for the icons.
ERROR PREVENTION
Hotstar have Error prevention if we enter wrong phone number to login it will show error message. It help us to enter the correct number to get a OTP for login with this feature platform prevent the user from the error.
RECOGNITION RATHER THAN RECALL
Hotstar have unique icon symbols for each sessions. Icons are real world things we can easily identify the feature. This platform have proper icons are each and every session instead of just session name they used icons so that user can easily identify the session.

This OTT platform have type suggestion in searches. If we are trying to search some show name in search field it will give us some suggestion related to the search word it is easy to choose the show and faster as well.

Hotstar have functionality of diagnose and recover from the errors like if we enter the OTP wrongly we have option to resend the OTP to login again. So we have a option to recover from the error and it will show the error message if we enter wrong OTP.

Hotstar have proper description for each and every videos it will help user to identify the type of video. Even in the icons as well as in the videos sessions they have categories whether it is a spots session or movie session like that we can identify the session categories.
