VCOM 388 - DESIGN TH!S Exhibition
This exhibition was made to promote Winthrop University's new design club, DES!GN THIS. In order to promote this event, students were tasked with designing graphics and materials, such as a table cloth, banner, show statement, etc. They were also tasked with designing promotional goods, such as t-shirts, totes, and more. Once the students created designs for these items, they were pitched, and the pitches were voted on by the class.
Promotional Event Banner
I had chosen the promotional event banner as my item for our Environmental Graphics project for the exhibition, and the idea I had in mind was to create a design that encapsulated the overall identity of the club DES!GN THIS. We were given a style guide to use to help us with our designing process, and it was my main source for design inspiration, as well as designs I found from Pinterest.
