Beyond Thought (2011)

In a world full of constant change, we are always aware of what's going on and what we think about it. This gives us a sense of who we are related to what we are aware of. The film, originally titled 'Awareness Itself' directed by James Hebert, reveals that awareness itself is not what you think.

Last year, I had the pleasure of working with James on an animated opening sequence to his film "Awareness Itself". I was given free range to illustrate the opening monologue as I envisioned it in my head. We decided to go with a raw stripped down look, consisting of black and white pencil sketches with a few soft pastel-like colors, in an attempt to create a flashback or dream sequence type look. I had a lot of fun working on this piece and look forward to doing more work like this in the future.
I received a film credit for my animation work on this film that can be seen on my IMDB profile. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4541434/filmo
