This was a former work in progress. The project fallen through, client didn't move forward with the project. I created the logo's in Adobe Illustrator and designed the general layouts in Google Drawings, it's actually great for demonstrating a design and making live changes with distant clients. The images are stock, the social media icons are open source.
This was the original front page. Content for holding purposes only. The project was split into four different sectors and so the idea was to have four seperate colours, red being the master colour and several other colours for the other project sectors.
This was the original about page. The project was split into four sectors and this was part of the wider scope covering all sectors of the project. Content for demonstration purposes only.
As mentioned the project is split into four different sectors. There was one global which used the orange theme, this page was for Finance and so followed a similar theme but had to distinguish itself from other sectors of the business whilst still maintaining a part of the project thus the global theme.
As I've mentioned quite a few times, the different sectors needed to maintain independence whilst still being a part of the project (Imagine how the UK flag is made up of flags of different countries (speaking before the Scottish referendum anyway at least)). So the main image had to be bold and stand out, while the other logos had their seperate identities in changing the colours, and to show these pages were sub-entities, the main 'Guard' logo text was made grey rather than the main black. My initial thought to keep things in line was to keep a smaller version of the main logo in the left-most corner of the footer but the client didn't like this. I also don't think the social media icons work too well as the colour set is totally different to the rest of the page, and I probably should have changed the colour of those anyway.
