with this particular motif, however, the biggest challenge was the grill!

with black and white drawings I try to bring out a crisp contrast in the reflections. That makes the material (metal, glass or chrome) appear more shiny.

an intense black in the darkest parts of the drawing gives the motif more depth.

the symmetry of the motif creates a harmonic composition, despite the busy reflections in the chrome and metal.

the black background behind the black car lets the bentley "grow" out of the paper.
