For this project I worked with a student of the IADT Film class of 2013 to design titles for their graduate film. My film was The Beauty of Ballybrack, a camp and tacky comedy about a domestic witch called Brid whose unrequited love for the postman Larry turns her into a beauty obsessed lunatic. She then steals the youth of her three young Spanish exchange students in an attempt to attract his affections.
 

The visual language developed for this project derived from the tackiness of the students clothes and from the ornaments decorating Brids house including candlesticks and doilies. The music and tone of the piece is bizarre. The print side of this project involved designing a DVD box and poster for the promotion of the film at festivals. The poster is printed on silver stock the DVD box is lined in leopard print.
