Ladoos of Light
For Diwali, Phool came up with the sweetest little gifting option, a perfect blend of delicious food and sparkling lights in the form of Motichoor Ladoo Candles, a diwali culinary staple, for the most beautiful vibes. These candles look delectably similar to the sweet staple, light up easily and emanate a pleasant fragrance.
The project brief was to design an apt packaging for this offering.
We decided to go back to the vintage and traditional language of sweet packaging designs, but to keep everything in the bold lined and simplified brand language of Phool. So a graphic illustrative design with thick outlines and bold colours was chosen to grace this packaging. A starburst of colours and gold foiling
was added to achieve that festive vibe!
The Colour Options
The team was presented with multiple colour options for the design.
The Final Design
A colour palette of pinks, oranges and yellows was chosen for the final illustration with accents of teal to highlight the typography and logo.
The Product Shoot
The products were stylistically shot like real Motichoor Ladoos in festive settings to
capture the essence of the same.
