Works mostly with Figma

Why This Designer
-I really love Rina’s work! I find it very professional and sleek. She makes a lot of tutorials that are easy to follow and show how to use certain components in Figma. Figma is what I love to design in most, but the platform is so big. Rina helps me understand what is offered in a simple way.

Strategic Plan
-comparing Rina’s work to my strategic plan, I think it fits within my style. I definitely think Rina’s work is innovative! There were so many different projects that I have never seen done before, definitely out of the box thinking! She has a great personalized approach to her work, and I think it shows she is hardworking and passionate about what she creates. A lot of her work have a very bright and bubbly personality which comes off as very aesthetically pleasing to viewers and keeps them very engaged

What Needs to be Learned?
-to be able to create the type of work Rina is going for, I need to do more research on figma’s components and prototype navigation options. I know the basics about the interactive sliders, but I need to focus on making things more interactive. Having things move across the page keeps viewers interested longer .
-Rina has a lot of tutorials offered through her instagram!

Why This Designer
-I really love pommy’s work! She makes designs that seem super complicated, but magical at the same time. Her color palette choices always creates the overall mood of the deign and really help to draw emphasis on certain areas. Though her work looks really complicated, she actually uses simplistic design pieces. Her mock up presentations are very professional, and I would love to learn how to mock designs in 3D like she did with her movie ticket app.

Strategic Plan
-I think Pommy’s designs are similar to my strategic plan or are something I aspire to create. I can tell that she really focuses on attention to detail when she created her designs. She really focuses on the color palette, spacing, and organization, which overall bring life and professionalism to her pieces. Her presentation and mock-ups are really what make her stand out to me. I definitely think it’s important to be able to show off your work in a creative and engaging way, and it shows her outside of the box thinking

What Needs to be Learned?
-Pommy has a lot of tutorials on YouTube showing her design process. She goes through every step in depth. She explains how to create certain design elements, like adding gradients to buttons, and also explains how to keep everting aligned and centered. She explains how to add websites elements like “read more”, interactive elements, and navigation buttons.

Why this Designer
-I think Yodiz has some interesting work! He posts a lot of step by step process on how to create certain designs in Figma. I like his work because it seems to almost be all over the place. I definitely see a lot of the deign principles used in Yodiz’s work, like balance, emphasis, and hierarchy.

Strategic Plan
-I think Yodiz’s work is the least like my strategic plan, but still works well within it, and I admire a lot of his in software characters work. I definitely think Yodiz thinks outside the box, thinking of different ways to use shapes to make new designs or characters. he definitely utilizes a personalized approach and makes everything his own! He pushes boundaries in the Figma software to see what he can create.

-Yodiz does most of his tutorials through instagram as slides, showing a step by step process. There are different plug-ins in Figma that he has helped me discover, such as the looper plug in that continues to loop your design.
