LUUKKU (window) Atelier identity

LUUKKU Atelier is a pop-up gallery in Budapest, a creative art space and collaboration of three Finnish artists — Katja Tukiainen, Jani Leinonen and Teemu Keisteri. It was open for 3 months, all the three artists exhibited for approximately one month.

The main idea of the logo is based on the exhibition’s title ‘Luukku’, which means ‘window’ in Finnish. The letter ‘L’ forms a window shape, which also refers to a frame or a painting on the wall. On the invitation card we can see glimpses of the artists’ work through this window. The mobile app and website were designed accordingly, one colour is dedicated to one artist (the colours correspond to the artists’ style) and their name comes up once we tap on their colour. This work is the winner project submitted to the competition of the gallery’s logo design.
