Part 2 : Heuristic Evaluation

Part 02/04: Heuristic Evaluation
Part 2 is about delving into the comparative analysis and heuristic evaluation of the Account Page, on two leading food delivery platforms: DoorDash and Blinkit.
As per my Research overall, both DoorDash and Blinkit offer strong account page experiences, with a focus on user control, error prevention, and support. DoorDash stands out with its real-time updates and consistency, while Blinkit emphasises local business support and aesthetic design.
I would also like to share a mini comparative evaluation of the Landing page as well as the Cart page for both the food delivery apps.
DoorDash gives multiple options to enter the app and leads the user to the home with a seamless quick navigation. Blinkit makes the log in easy for the user by either adding their contact details or directly link their account with it’s parent company Zomato, which also retrieves all saved data at Zomato to Blinkit. Overall, the landing pages of both DoorDash and Blinkit contribute to a positive first impression for users, with each platform offering unique strengths and opportunities for improvement.
DoorDash and Blink it both provides detailed information about the item in the cart, followed by add ons and then a detailed bill. Considering the social preferences, the app offers a separate section for the tills to the delivery executive. Overall, the cart pages of both DoorDash and Blinkit contribute to a positive user experience, with each platform offering unique strengths and areas for improvement.

Note: I do not work for, nor am I affiliated with, Doordash or Blinkit. I did this case study to illustrate my personal approach in conducting a heuristic analysis and comparative evaluation.
