The Tomoroad School, Audi Volkswagen Group's social contribution activities, is an autonomous driving and coding education program for students. For the Tomoroad School classes, we designed a scale model of an autonomous vehicle's powertrain and exterior. The powertrain was designed using Lego Mindstorms to provide a coding solution, while the exterior was designed to be suitable for vacuum forming. Utilizing an ultrasonic sensor and an RGB sensor located at the front, students can experience an autonomous vehicle that maintains a safe distance from the car ahead and navigates its way. The exterior can be customized using provided stickers, allowing students to design their own unique car.
