QRound Pavilion

Pavilion is a creation to mark the bicentenary of Hungarian architect Miklós Ybl, as a starting and finishing point of a QR code-assisted walk visiting his buildings in the City. This info point indirectly reminds one of his main creations – the Saint Stefan Basilica. The form is modern – literally – where a linen sheet fixed at various points and suspended from hollow-section steel frames creates the mass of the Basilica by the natural fall of the material. The structure is airy and light, raised some centimetres from the ground as a counterpoint to the original building and an expression of our respect for it.

Materials: steel, linen
