MUSMED is a project created for the rebranding of the Museum of the History of Medicine, located in the university city of "Sapienza" in Rome. For this project, a brand identity has been created, and an internal setup and a master plan for the public space outside the museum have been designed.
The concept behind the Musmed project is the connectome, which is "the comprehensive description of the structural network of elements and connections that form the human brain" (Sporns, 2011). The idea of the connectome is mainly reflected in the colors used within the project to divide the museum floors and various themes.
