Trainme


Trainme is a convenient and engaging way to work out at home, at a fraction of the cost of a gym workout. In a market where existing smart hardware solutions are expensive & bulky, trainme's vision is to make effective at-home training accessible to everyone. Its technology enables users to effectively work out, in the comfort of their own space and privacy, while its gear consists of two smart grips and two bands that carry sensors and record real-time data to deliver an immersive workout.

In the midst of a global pandemic and at the intersection of digital and physical worlds, we developed a distinct brand identity to reflect the brand’s tech-based and fitness character. The logo was inspired by the product’s two smart grips, as well as the initial letter -t- of the avant garde typeface, which was also used for the wordmark and served as the primary font in the brand’s overall communication.

Despite the brand being built from a digital-first lens, what leads the art direction is its human-centered personality. Imagery portraying people in action, glowy colourful lights, powerful typography exuding confidence and fitness aesthetics blend to serve as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit.
