‘Silent Scream’ is an imagined 80’s inspired horror movie produced by Dawson Leery and directed by Amelia Ko. They are both known for producing horror movies based in the 80s. Both Leery and Ko are based in Los Angeles, California. This movie is meant to terrify audiences and make them scream as much as possible in fear. This project focuses on creating an 80s-style movie poster that shows what can be expected in the movie. The designed poster features the figure of a woman screaming in terror, but as the tagline suggests, no one will be able to hear her, evoking a sense of panic and fear.

Changed Aesthetic Poster
The changed aesthetic version of the original movie poster improves the project by providing an alternate version that may attract a different target audience. For the design elements, I changed the main title typeface, added rough grunge textures in the background, and replaced the lighting with dripping blood. The color is now a mix of dark grey, black, and neon green. Some horror movie target audiences may be more attracted to a grunge look than something with magenta, like in the original poster.
