Background of the concept: 
I wanted it to be space themed, since I've always been interested in space and the technology behind it. It just so happened, that I was following the development and eventual launch of the James Webb Telescope at the time. All the while working with this concept. The launch of the telescope was literally playing LIVE next to me, as I was finishing up the idea. 

This was a passion project and a fun thing, just for me. But I figured, why not share it?

The concept art drawn by hand and then assembled in Photoshop/Illustrator. The set itself is made up of 36 - 16x16 baseplates and uses the dots bricks for the colours. The main art is of The Andromeda Galaxy. The box has the hexagonal shapes of the telescope on the outside, creating a window to the wonders of the universe. The set is made so the main box design can be used again for other space images. I also build the set in Bricklink Studios.

When the set is assembled, it can be put into a frame and onto one's wall at home.
