Illumio Trade Show Program - 2023
Starting with the larger footprint, we wanted to create a physical representation of the containment aspects of their product, while avoiding the creation of barriers to attendees wanting to learn more. The containment brackets from their logo and extended branding also served as strong inspiration for the space. The use of tinted plexiglass in the multipurpose meeting/podcasting room allowed people to see the action without disrupting it, and the colored and lit plexiglass on the opposite corner acted as a beacon to the rest of the show floor. A large scale LED wall was integrated for the theater area, with the final size chosen to command attention without dominating the space. The area to the side of the theater was reserved for demo kiosks for 1:1 walkthroughs of the product, which again inspired the physical design of the supporting structure.
The space was a hit, both with the client and conference attendees, with reports of industry competition coming up to compliment their space. The client’s marketing team even used the first day of the conference to film an “MTV Cribs” style tour of the space for their social media channels.
