BEATBOX Zing music show opener

10 seconder stopmotion-

This is an innovatively fun ident, created for our daily morning slot playing the latest Bollywood beats. For this stop motion animation, simple cardboard boxes were handcrafted to look like pop music devices of their respective eras. We worked our way through shoes boxes, pizza delivery boxes and even beer cartons while creating models and key frames. To allow a smooth workflow in restricted time and budget, every member of the OAP team contributed in designing and testing these models, getting back to basics with scissors, cutters, fevicol and paint, in turn making it an exciting project done completely in-house. Credits to all the pins and wires which made our models dance in mid-air, enabling a smooth animation and innovative style. Boxes are meant to store things and we did the same by giving the latest Bollywood beats a slot in our cupboard. You don’t always have to think out-of-the-box when you can actually think with it!
