Bedroom Remodel in Purple and Turquoise

Two photos of the room before the remodel. Chosen to show the color of the walls and curtains, the exposed beams of the ceiling, and some of the odd bits of architecture. You can't see much of the carpet, but it was oatmeal in color and very abrasive in texture.
The glowing thing on the bed is a cat.
Example of the widespread clutter that needed serious organizing, though this is somewhat exaggerated by showing the room mid-packing.
Two photos after painting the walls and in the process of reassembling the room.
Shows the purple accent wall in contrast with the pale grey of the other walls, new outlet covers, hardwood flooring (the only part of the project I didn't do myself), new wall-mounted lamps, and steel bedframe.
Accent stripe!
Two photos with everything more or less put together with carpets, bedding, curtains, decorations, and art.
Fairly tidy and de-cluttered with a place for everything. But there are still some creature comforts and utility items-- the TV and overbed table, for instance. (I should perhaps have hidden my Hello Kitty shower-wrap to take the picture...)
Here's where people will say "Ahh! Too busy!" but I just have to have my corkboard of random thoughts and ideas. I couldn't find a place for it on the wall, but it works well on the back of my desk to hide wires and things.
