"I-Boogie Mo Ako" or Boogie is a music video I directed for the band The Itchyworms in collaboration with the group The CompanY, released online in 2020. The idea behind the music video is to get the vibe of the old Filipino classic hit songs, Manila Sounds, and in general, to be playful with the visual approach of the music video. Elements such as the use of green screen, heavily edited portions of the music video, and a pastiche of both experimental videos and videos took by the members are brought together in one music video to convey their playfulness not only in delivering a song that is well though out, but also to continuously re-invent themselves as musicians.
