HOLOCENE
Canned water, packaging.
Holocene asked me to do an illustration for the packaging of their sparkling and still canned water. They wanted something that spoke to the ancient nature of water, its rarity in time and space and the critical role it plays in supporting life systems.
I started with these two concept scamps, the client liked both so asked for a combo.
Ended up landing on this composition, which resulted in many different colour variations.
When my role was over they still needed to pin down the exact details for the can its self.
but they ended up with many awesome options to chose from.
In the end they went for a version without the stars, and did a white and black variation for the still and sparkling
