Digital Doorstep (an offshoot from Orion Data) was a MLS system back in the early 2000's. The company had a great model but ultimately failed due to funding and the ability of the company to get into a closed business loop as an outsider. Alas - but the times I had at the company continue into friendships I have today. 

The design used rich colors to appeal to potential customers and was reminiscent of the color scheme used in other product offerings by the same company. The "D" was staggered to look like steps.
