The contradictory state of being is too convoluted to envisage, let alone define. After all, what does one do when one can’t take sides with either of two extremities but must move forward while tethered to both? Inspired by this thought, the installation allows viewers to drive the dialogue to that state and decide for themselves whether the dynamics of this coexistence collide or coalesce. I created a portal within the gallery by connecting two spaces to the other. I let the visitors determine how to interact/communicate with the other space or whether they even want to.
