Die meisten Menschen sind sich nicht bewusst, wieviel der eigenen Privatsphäre sie im Internet freiwillig aufgeben. Um diesen Eingriff in das persönliche Leben für jeden spürbar zu machen haben wir die Facebook-Inquisition ins Leben gerufen.

Die Facebook-Inquesition ist eine semi-religiöse Bruderschaft mit der heiligen Mission auch den letzten Zweifler dazu zu bekehren sämtliche persönlichen Daten öffentlich zu machen. Unter derm Slogan "teile oder weile." bestrafen sie alle, die nach wie vor persönliche Daten zurückhalten.

Most people are not aware of the amount of privacy they voluntarily give up on the internet. Therefore, we've created the Facebook-Inquisition to make this interference perceivable for everyone.

The Facebook-Inquisition is a semi-religious Brotherhood dedicated to the holy mission of convincing even the last sceptic to surrender all his private Information to the public. Under the slogan "teile oder weile" (trans.: "share or stay put"), they punish everyone who's still withholding personal details.

Im Auftrag der Inquisition waren wir auf dem Mainzer Mediendisput (MMD) und bei den Designtagen Wiesbaden (AAA). Dort haben wir uns unter den Gästen umgehört, ob irgendwer noch Daten vor der Öffentlichkeit zurückhält.

Fast alle Befragten hatten persönliche Details verheimlicht und mussten zur Strafe in den Pranger.

In the name of the Inquisition we visited the Mainzer Mediendisput (MMD) and the Designtage Wiesbaden (AAA). There we asked around, if anyone was still holding back private information from the public.

Almost everyone we'd asked was withholding personal details and had to serve his time in the pillory.
