In a village where women of all age groups collaborate seamlessly, their collective effort surpasses that of men, making it doubtful that Shindi could emerge victorious in the competition. During my two-month stay, I observed their arduous daily routine. Early mornings involved cleaning homes, streets, and animal sheds, followed by preparing family meals. They diligently tackled tasks assigned by the Paani Foundation members until evening, then resumed household responsibilities and childcare. Their demanding schedule, comprising long hours of work and only 6-7 hours of sleep, served as a profound source of inspiration for me. Motivated by their unwavering dedication, I found inspiration to depict their lives on walls through my paintbrush. It became a means for me to contribute to the competition and shed light on their extraordinary efforts. This artistic endeavor serves as a tribute to the indomitable spirit of the women of Shindi Khurd, portraying their resilience and hard work that often goes unnoticed.
