This illustration was developed for use in creating all print and interactive materials promoting an annual student book collecting contest. Taking compositional inspiration from an art nouveau illustration by Aubrey Beardsley, the illustration weaves in elements of the university (campanile tower), contest itself (books and various media) and history of the donor (daffodils were her favorite flower).
