MTN is the official main sponsor for the South African national rugby team, The Springboks. For the 2023 Rugby World Cup, we needed to develop a campaign to unite the nation in support the Boks as they set out to make history in winning the World Cup back-to-back and for a record breaking 3rd time.
As a sponsorship property, both the rugby thematic and MTN brand needed to be considered - alongside the usage of the Springbok players in the design as the main feature in all campaign communication.

Using the MTN brand font as foundation for the typography, we treated it with a gritty texture to resemble that of a field and the overall rugby thematic.
