O livro tem como base o trabalho do designer David Carson e sua filosofia de desconstrução das regras do Design Editorial. Os capítulos são divididos em cinco livretos, apresentando a carreira do designer e discutindo sobre os elementos projetuais.
The book is based on the work of designer David Carson and his philosophy of deconstructing the rules of Editorial Design. The chapters are divided into five booklets featuring the career of the designer and discussing the elements of his projects.
