The project entry
In this poster, I wanted to highlight the unique character of Jubail city and its evolution over time, reflecting its diverse history and remarkable development. In the past, it was known for its fishing activities and pearl diving, which made it a prosperous commercial center in the Eastern region. This period reflected the dedication of its people to its development and the achievement of prosperity for its residents.
As time progressed, Jubail witnessed significant development due to the spread of factories and various industries in the region. It began its transformation from a city dependent on fishing and pearls to a major industrial hub that attracts investments and provides employment opportunities for both the local and expatriate community.
I chose the phrase "In the hands of the past, we gained pearls, and in the hands of the present, glory flourished" to illustrate the idea that this success and progress do not come by chance, but are the result of continuous efforts and collaboration by the people of Jubail who have worked diligently to make it a beacon of development and prosperity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
في هذا البوستر، أردت أن أبرز الطابع الفريد لمدينة الجبيل وتطورها عبر الزمن، حيث جعلت البوستر يعكس تاريخها المتنوع وتطورها الملحوظ. ففي الماضي، كانت معروفة بنشاطات الصيد واستخراج اللؤلؤ التي كانت تجعلها مركزًا تجاريًا مزدهر في المنطقة الشرقية
كانت هذه الفترة تعكس تفاني أهلها في تطويرها وتحقيق رفاهية لسكانها. ومع تقدم الزمن، شهدت الجبيل تطورًا كبيرًا بفضل انتشار المصانع والصناعات المختلفة في المنطقة. بدأت الجبيل تحولها من مدينة تعتمد على الصيد واللؤلؤ إلى مركز صناعي رئيسي يجذب الاستثمارات ويوفر فرص عمل للمجتمع المحلي والوافد
اخترت عبارة ( في أيدي الماضي كسبنا الدرر وفي أيدي الحاضر المجد ازدهر ) وذلك لأني اردت ان اوضح فكرة ان هذا النجاح والتقدم لا يأتي بالصدفة، بل هو نتاج جهود مستمرة وتضافر الجهود من قبل أبناء الجبيل الذين سعوا جاهدين لجعلها منارة للتطور والازدهار في المملكة العربية السعودية
