Back in my student days in design school, I was asked to do an illustration of a children's book cover. For this project, I chose "The Fisherman and his Wife" by the Brothers Grimm. After graduating, I decided to improve my the project to my own liking. 

These are the sketches that I made prior to coloring the project digitally.

I did some experiments with the layout of the book cover. But eventually had it done differently in digital.

And this is the old project that I submitted to my drawing lecturer :)
