Toddler’s Universal Enjoyable Locomotion, a mobility product targetting physically disabled kids, suffering from leg injuries or amputation, and healthy kids ranging between the age of 3-5 years old; bringing them together for a shared childhood experience. The disabled kid will be offered an experience of freedom, interaction, development and self-confidence boosting through mobilizing without feeling differentiated. while healthy kids will enjoy a fun, enjoyable and a non-conventional new ride.

 

This project went through a long process from observation of people’s mobility needs in the streets, to an extensive research in the field of physical disabilities, its emotional and physical consequences, and children psychology, physiology and features of play, then a design process to integrate mechanism and shape based on the needed function.
