Logo Design, Visual Identity
The Objective
Formerly known as Motus Agency, 8FA Creative was in need of a new visual identity that more accurately captured their brand ethos and personality. With a desire to let the stunning visuals of their client work stand out, the look and feel of the 8FA Creative brand itself was to be minimalistic and modern. They also wanted to communicate a sense of mystery and prestige in order to stand out among other creative agencies.
Logo Design
The unique naming of the agency was an opportunity to explore bold and unusual letterforms that expressed the brand personality. I thoughtfully crafted several logo concepts that used minimalism to their advantage with distinct geometric shapes and contemporary typography. Ultimately, the final design was selected due to its tall, striking letterforms that give the logo an ultramodern and prestigious appearance.
Visual Identity
Although the logo was the primary marker for the brand, 8FA Creative was in need of additional components to strengthen their visual identity and bring their marketing materials to life. The primary colors were kept to grayscale in order to let colorful photography stand out, while two secondary gradients were developed to bring color to use cases with no imagery. Typefaces were carefully selected to compliment the geometric shapes and high-contrast letterforms of the logo as well as communicate the brand psyche.
