La Marató is an annual charity campaign managed by the public of Catalan television during Christmas. A different issue is tackled each year, and money is collected through various shows and actions. In 2023, the topic was related to sexual health, so I was commissioned to create an illustration on the subject.
Showing a diverse group of couples was one of the main requirements from the agency in charge of the campaign, Charles BCN, since the illustration was meant to show a modern and open-minded vision of sexuality.
As for the colouring process, I was asked to use essentially blue and orange, the corporate colours of La Marató.
The campaign was advertised in many ways. One of them was the use of street poste banners.
