The goal of this project was to render a banjo in a wireframe form. This was meant to highlight the nature of the underlying structures of objects. 
The piece was drawn in Solidworks then cut out on a Trotec Laser Cutter. The kerf of the lens used allowed the joints of corrosponding parts to fit tightly together. This allowed the finished product to rely solely on friction to maintain structural integrity.
