I hiked this canyon years ago and photographed it in one afternoon. The project has become a gallery exhibition where the photos look much different than here online.
The format is the same (square) but the photos were printed on unbleached mulberry block printing paper. The paper is a mix of kozo and bamboo fiber. The sheets are very thin and strong, smooth on one side and lightly textured on the other. The photos were printed on the smooth side.
All the photos are 5" (127mm) square and matted on 8" x 10" (203mm x 254mm) antique white mat board.
I photographed the canyon with a handheld Canon EOS 5D with EF 28-80mm lens. The ISO was set at 1600 due to the darkness in the canyon. Post processing was done in Lightroom Classic. I used the AI Denoise filter on all the photos, which I think worked well.
