I created this refreshed identity (below) of the Dunkin' Donuts brand for an assessment as part of my Graphic Design studies for CATC Design School. The brief asked for me to identify a brand that I thought could use a refresh and to redesign the identity based on the values of the company/brand/organization. I chose to refresh the Dunkin' Donuts identity by creating a donut like logo that not only represents the baked goodies produced and sold by the brand but also the two D's of 'Dunkin' Donuts' placed back to back creating the desired shape. I also made the type taller in my refresh, giving the identity a clearer more readable feel than the original (in my opinion)...
I kept the same typeface and colours as the original identity so it is easily recognized as Dunkin' Donuts and doesnt confuse regular customers too much at a glance I hope you like my refreshed identity as much as I liked designing it...CM.
