Ferrari on Ice // Inner Mongolia
Always good to be back. Yakeshi, Inner Mongolia // China. 200km from the Russian border and far north, very close to Siberia. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere and it always takes a day to get here.
It was my 10th time here shooting sports cars on ice and snow in extreme conditions. This time for a different brand, but with almost the same people involved when we started shooting in 2012. And as usual it was challenging, exhausting but also a lot of fun.
This time the temperature reached -37 degrees Celsius. Without accounting for the windchill factor;-)
My coldest day was -49 and then -45 for three consecutive days a few years ago. We continued shooting outside, despite the frigid weather. Compared to that, I consider this time to be quite warm ;-).
