OBJECTIVE
To focus on the theories and practices involved in the creation of virtual user experience solutions while creating better outcomes for select tasks within the existing Behance application.

PROCESS & SOLUTION
The project involved a lot of personal experience and user testing. Initially, I asked users about their general emotions towards the app, and then focused on five specific tasks to test the users. These tests showed the gaps within the current app and helped to show what areas I needed to focus on. From here, I created paper prototypes, basic wire frames and fully designed outcomes to test on other users. Each round evoked changes which were incorporated into the final outcome. In order to make sure the new task flows were easy, I asked users who were both familiar and unfamiliar with the app to see if the tasks were easy for both new and old users. The final design solution involved changes to five different tasks to create an easier path for users. Through research and user testing, the tasks chosen to change or add were to create a job area in the app, allow personalization within the “Me” section, simplify the menu layouts, create an easier path to the settings and log out area and enhance the “add project” scenario by increasing the user’s options.
