Autonomic or automatic?
Action becomes routine. Living becomes a daily grind. Human becomes automat. He works and operates what he learned. Life offers millions of opportuninties today, but simultaneously danger rises to lose oneself in self-staging. Am I doing what I really want to do? Am I the one I really want to be?
Working with the issue "autonomy", I'm giving a signal to reflect oneself with a graphic self-refelction of my life. Dealing with philosophical, sociological and psychological facts, I'm giving an image of the circumstances we live in today. The work starts with theoretical aspects of autonomic chances of life today. Working with pictures of my parents and grandparents, I'm showing possiblilities of individual fulfilment of two generations. In the last visual part, I'm analyzing myself with Infographics. The text is split into two levels: A factual one and one level where I'm reflecting the text with my own thoughts to make the facts more clear. The surprisingly honest comments about the factual texts and the own life story shall activate the discourse about important questions of life: Who orders, how we have to be? And how conscious is the own action?
A notebook, that can be unfolded to a 15 meter long fan-fold, visualizes that life consists of more as it seems. The 15 meter long fold can be read by several people at once or in a different order.
