I planned to design a brand of craft beer that would not only show its tranquility and peacefulness but also represent a modern, nature-like tone to the consumers. This would allow the can to have a unique, distinct look, making it memorable and noticeable to those who approach it. In terms of processing the design, starting with an element of nature was the way to go. Initially, adding a sun as the logo did not give the right impression of the overall theme. However, the two opposing trees for the "Wildwood Brews" logo represent that mysterious wilderness feel, creating a sense of evenness throughout the design, which is what was incorporated into the final logo. The beer can's background and logo show a distressed, sharp look that can easily entice consumers to buy the product. Each flavor and color palette chosen within the Wildwood Brews beer cans enhances the theme of nature to connect into.
