Enter a land in which friendly creatures lurk behind every tree stump, every flowerbed and pond. A place that exists trapped between shadow and light. Here these fluffy monsters and little girls lay on the riverbanks in the sun; in a place where dreams abound and malevolent thought is a foreign, unknown thought.
These are 6 out of 100 illustrations that together form the As Big As Mountains collectible pack of art. For this collection, I was inspired by comics and children's illustrations. I wanted this collection to be whimsical and light-hearted. Each illustration was created entirely digitally. As this was the second time I created a collection, it was a bit easier to create a large, cohesive series of art, but still challenging in its own way. The hardest part was keeping consistency in style, and the best part was coming up with new ideas and experimenting with the final outcome. (Also, check out my first collection: Daydreams.)
