Getting Perspective

Getting Perspective
Focus
For my first photo, I used focus to create a sense of depth of field. I placed a candle further in front of other products to create depth of field. I used a low aperture level to get the background blurred out and the foreground to stay in focus. The edges of the candle are slightly blurred out to enhance the focus on the middle of the candle focusing on the words.
Interposition/Overlap
In my second photo, I placed a perfume bottle in front of another to create an overlap. The blue perfume bottle is closer to the camera while the pink bottle is slightly covered by the blue bottle to create a sense that it's slightly further away. I used a lower aperture level to create a sense of depth of field and have the perfume bottle closest to the camera in focus to give it that sense of distance.
Linear Perspective
For my last photo, I used the railings to create converging lines into a distance. The middle rail leads your eyes toward the distance and the railing further away from the camera helps create that converging line into the distance where the points connect. This was taken at an angle and lower down and not straight on at height because it didn’t create that converging line perspective into the distance and when the camera was lower and slightly turned it created that parallel line connection.
