For our Final Year Project, I would like to create something that can be translated into a solution for an existing social issue. The declining interest of youth towards classic / contemporary poetry to certain extent, has negatively impacted the way we grew to be a better being. Although it may not be the sole reason, poetry and art has certainly influenced us, as human, to feel and to empathize towards our surroundings.
 
To introduce poetry to the youth, text-based media solely hasn't been very effective - considering the impact on how social media has shortened our attention span. Therefore, combining minimalist (raster) illustrations and digital medium, my project is about translating poetry into a visual based, experiential story in a simple interaction: scrolling.
 
 'The Road Not Taken' is an illustrated assemble scrolling website featuring the context of Robert Frost's poem of the same name - represented by a boy who seek for the purpose of the 'choices'. As the poem itself is commonly misinterpreted, I guess it's justifiable to show that it's open to interpretation, by nature.
